The Bull Pen: 2014

Halloween is just around the corner. The boys and girls will be bugging you for costumes and candy. They will be wanting to carve that pumpkin. They may be wanting to have a Halloween party with games like bobbing for apples and pin the tail on the donkey. We walked by MRS ROBINSON and she is STILL CRAZY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS. She gave us THE SOUND OF SILENCE treatment and then she yelled I AM A ROCK and we all began to run away. When we finally arrived home we went inside and watched a movie called FIFTY WAYS TO LEAVE YOUR LOVER We all looked at each other and began to laugh Life was so cool when we were young and reckless .

My name is ARNOLD LAYNE and this is my story. From the very first moments and the doctor told me to BREATHE I always felt I had some sort of BRAIN DAMAGE. My father was CORPORAL CLEGG and he was killed in the war. MOTHER had to raise me on her own. Growing up there was always little MONEY to go around One day when I was a young teen I tried to steal some food. The manager yelled HEY YOU and from that day I was ON THE RUN. I tried to go back to my house but there was NOBODY HOME When I would see PIGS (cops) I would always RUN LIKE HELL. I finally landed a job and the boss said WELCOME TO THE MACHINE. I would meet and fall in love with VERA. I would spend hours to SEE EMILY PLAY. I always had a feeling that it was US AND THEM I finally left my wife and was found playing with the SHEEP and FEELING COMFORTABLY NUMB. They put me in a rubber room and told to SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND. For a long TIME I would hear ECHOES. For awhile I would build ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL but I knew eventually THE SHOW MUST GO ON. I am now on my own ON THE TURNING AWAY road and all I can say is I WISH YOU WERE HERE in paradise.

OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY I took the plane across THE OCEAN to find THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE. We landed in England and saw the GALLOWS POLE at the Tower of London. It was the Battle I looked for. As we traveled into the countryside we were told WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS we should head towards the MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP. We found the HOUSES OF THE HOLY and noticed a FOOL IN THE RAIN singing THE RAIN SONG. He looked DAZED AND CONFUSED and his BLACK DOG were enjoying their DANCING DAYS. My FRIENDS and I would RAMBLE ON toward the battle When we found the land of the battle we realized WHAT IS AND WHAT SHOULD NEVER BE It was NOBODY'S FAULT BUT MINE and it was a COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN for you see there was NO QUARTER left of the land. There were GOOD TIMES BAD TIMES but TEN YEARS GONE there was nothing to see of the great battle A farmer crossed our path and told us what happened about the battle. A young Prince had been told YOUR TIME IS GONNA COME for you see he had a WHOLE LOTTA LOVE for a young peasant girl. She had told the Prince that with ALL MY LOVE I will be always yours. Another man had told her that SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU I want to BRING IT ON HOME The two noble men fought each other with their clans but like usual the THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME. They both would die and the young girl would kill herself and travel to the land of KASHMIR. The farmer told as all three would travel the STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN they began to sing the IMMIGRANT SONG. The field was turned over and the crops returned and the story faded from memory. Like others before the story became another song for you see it's only ROCK AND ROLL as the LED ZEPPELIN traveled on into history.

I can remember at times as a child being SICK AS A DOG. it was when I hit my teenage years that I learned of some SWEET EMOTION and my MY BIG TEN INCH. Most of my friends will tell me to DREAM ON and tell me I was CRAZY. It was when I became a man and learned of LOVE IN AN ELEVATOR. I remember that I CAN'T STOP LOVIN YOU. It was fun when we all would CONE TOGETHER and I loved to LIVIN ON THE EDGE. Unfortunately I had a MONKEY ON MY BACK and it was the SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE. I picked myself up and got BACK IN THE SADDLE and life came FULL CIRCLE. I learned that you DON'T GET MAD GET EVEN was the way to live. It was easy to KISS YOUR PAST GOODBYE I grew up and learned that KINGS AND QUEENS ruled the world and that you don't EAT THE RICH I became very sad when JANIE'S GOT A GUN and became an ANGEL. We only live once on this planet and if you never took a flight on Aerosmith then take the time and make it a notch on your bucket list.

I was born a Billion Dollar Baby. For many years as a young child I was Caught In A Dream. I soon would become a Crazy Little Child. As a young teen we would take our fireworks and blow all the dollies and make them Dead Babies.
It was also at that time I would look at myself and ask Is It My Body I would come to the conclusion that I Like Girls. Life would turn and I learned about my Muscle Of Love I began to think that I'm The Coolest because I'm Eighteen. It would also at that time that I learned that I Never Cry and that I was A Hard Hearted Alice
I became Public Enemy #9 and the Man With The Golden Gun. I was No More Mr Nice Guy and was involved In the Gutter Cat v The Jets gang Fight. I was Guilty of gang warfare and would spend sometime thinking about my Teenage Lament 74.
When I emerged again and gave a big Hello Hooray I was Elected. I decided that I Am The Future and learned that Only Women Bleed. Life as Alice Cooper has been an interesting one and I hope you enjoyed this little fairy tale. Enjoy your summer while Schools Out.

Prayer For 06/04/2014

The Lord does work in mysterious ways. He helps us and cares for us but he does it in his time not ours. We have a problem sometimes that when we truly think that we need something we go and pray for it. The Lord hears our prayer but that does not mean he will act on it immediately. Yes in time if he feels that we need that certain something he will grant us that item and if he feels we don't then we don't. We must be patient with the Lord sometimes. He has so much to care for that it may be awhile till he gets around to us. This is where we learn to do for ourselves. So this day pray to God for what you feel that you need but be patient and see if the Lord will grant that wish. Love the Lord for he is good.

Tuesday is usually just one of those days that we just take for granted. Sometimes just the same way we take God for granted. The days we look for God's help well he may just take us for granted. There has to be a better understanding between yourself and God. You must let him know that he is first in your life. This morning I want to pray for all who are depressed and feel that they are worthless or under appreciated. Everybody needs to feel that they are worth something. We all want to be loved or cared for by someone special. The idea for some to be alone is overwhelming and it makes them feel as if they are nothing. There is good in everyone one of us. Good that people need to enjoy and spread to those who need it. We all must realize that we are worthy love and when we know that we can love and be loved is when we are true human beings. We were not put on this planet to be alone. We all must interact with someone. I pray this day that everyone can know the feeling of love and to be loved. I pray that whatever is holding them back that they can let it go and open themselves up to be loved by someone. Let go of all that holds you back and open your hearts and accept love into your life.

The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want. I have lived many different lives on this planet. Some I'm ashamed to say have not been the nicest. I have done many things that I wish I hadn't. These things that I did have been forgiven by myself and by God many years ago. I am not ashamed of them actually I'm not really ashamed of anything I have ever done. I am sorry for the way I have treated others. I can say I'm sorry for the way that my life had turned at points in my existence. i can say to the Lord that since he forgave me of these things I have never repeated them.
