'Manhunt' DVD Review

Martin Clunes plays DCI Colin Sutton a London Detective. 'Manhunt' is based on the memoirs of Sutton. Sutton was involved in the pursuit of serial killer Levi Bellfield. The battered body of a young  French student is found on the green at Twickenham. This young detective will become the lead detective of this case. Sutton was a very humble but hardworking young man and this would become a sign of the kind of career Sutton would have with the London police force. Sutton early on was able to connect the dots on this case with a previous murder thus leading him in search of a serial killer. When it became known that a serial killer was on the loose the press as well as the public became very interested in this case. Everyone wanted answers and they wanted them yesterday. Sutton’s team were not able to find a motive nor any witnesses or for that matter any forensic evidence. The team was soon becoming discouraged but Sutton pressed on.

Sutton would suffer personally as his relationship with his wife (Claudie Blakley) would suffer from all the time he would spend on the case. Our story is one of fact and shows the truth behind what police sometimes have to deal with in search of certain killers.
Martin Clunes is wonderful as DCI Sutton. He is able to show the truth as to why some investigations can be very tiring even on the families.

'Terror In The Skies' DVD Review

Director Seth Breedlove brings us a documentary that focuses on sightings of winged like creatures with human characteristics. For centuries these creatures have been spotted across the country from West Virginia to Illinois. The “Chicago Mothman” as it has been called has been sighted some 55 times. The creatures red eyes make it quite visible as some sightings have it in flight. Some have seen it sitting on cars or other objects.

'Terror in The Skies' is narrated by Lyle Blackburn author, musician and a noted TV personality. The story was written by Seth and Adrienne Breedlove. Authors Troy Taylor and Loren Coleman are also featured throughout the documentary. A person has to ask if this is another look at creatures like Bigfoot who have been seen but have never been captured. This flying winged creature has been seen for hundreds of years. Some believe the gargoyle is a possibility of being a true to life creature but have any been captured but we put them on cathedrals.

These sightings have been looked at in several ways. Some believe they see these creatures because others have seen them thus they believe they saw them. Some feel as if these sightings are bad omens leading to a future tragic accident. This would lead people to believe anything is possible in this day and age.

Small Town Monsters brings this documentary to DVD on June 7th, 2019. Now the quality of the DVD is excellent and the sights and sounds are perfect. This is definitely a DVD that you will want to get and add to that personal library. What makes this an even more interesting aspect is that all or at least most of the sightings have been seen not in rural areas. This would mean these creatures are living among us and we should definitely look at this with an open mind that anything is truly possible.
