Tara Rafferty (
Amy Huberman) is a Lawyer hailing from Dublin. She was once connected to a very high profile law firm. She left when she found her fiance Eric (
Rory Keenan) was caught having an affair. She worked with Eric and was going to marry him but when she learned what he was up to she called it quits. She opened her own law firm and was doing well. It wasn’t great but it was going well. Until one of her employees betrayed her and another landed in jail. She believes her old boss who just happens to be Eric’s father is behind her bad luck. She does not give up she actually learns to fight back.
Her clients range from people facing deportation charges to a lawsuit that takes on a convent to a bigamist in a divorce case. She has tried many cases against Eric or others from her former law firm but she doesn’t give in. Tara’s mentor Vincent (
Neil Morrissey) is involved in a high level corruption case that may put both of them in danger. In other words Tara is a fighter and will not be taken advantage of. She could have had it all if she had turned the other cheek with Eric but she didn’t. She wouldn’t allow anyone to mistreat her the way he did. In addition to Huberman there are other actors like Moe Dunford,
Fiona O'Shaughnessy, and Maria Doyle Kennedy that makes this show one of the best.
Many have called this show one of the best to come out of Ireland in a long time.
