Cat Hogan (Carolina Main) has to deal with the death of her mother. Her mom dies suddenly and the thought of returning to her hometown upsets her even worse. Cat is a loner and doesn’t get along with her family at all. She hasn’t gotten along with her father (Adrian Dunbar) since her childhood because of a trauma that occurred. Her siblings think she is a troublemaker and haven’t gotten along with her in years.
Cat hears all the details of the accident that caused her mother’s death and thinks something is up. She believes that her father may have had a hand in the death. He is a Doctor and thinks he may have caused her death. Cat begins to look into all that happened and starts to uncover long buried secrets that makes the death even harder to cope with. If the secrets are true it will tear apart what’s left of her ties with her family.
This thriller is dark to begin with but when you add the psychological aspects it makes this a must see. Was Cat’s mother murdered or did she die from natural causes only watching the whole story will answer those questions. Blood comes to us on Acorn TV but we can get it on DVD on May 28th, 2019. The quality of the DVD Is excellent. The sights and sounds are exquisite to say the least. This is a wonderful addition to that personal library. You will enjoy this over and over again. It makes a rainy afternoon seem just a little more enjoyable.
For many of us we can relate to Cat Hogan in that we don’t have good relationships with our families.what we might not have are the questions that might occur in a questionable death like she does with her mothers demise.
