David Suchet for 25 years played the great detective
Hercule Poirot. Agatha Christie created the character Poirot one hundred years ago in her novel,
'The Mysterious Affair at Styles'.
'Being Poirot' is a journey back to Agatha Christies summer home in Devon those many years before Suchet would meet the author's family. You will travel to Poirot's roots in Belgium and you will get a chance to hear from the Belgians themselves of what they think of their most famous son.
Hercule Poirot is possibly one of the best loved characters of the detective genre. David Suchet has for these 25 years been able to bring the character to life. In this documentary you will hear from Suchet himself as to how he feels toward this character and how it changed his life.
