'Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame In Concert' Blu-Ray Review

The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame is now entering its third decade of induction ceremonies. Some of these groups of the 60s, 70s, and 80s hadn’t played together in years. When it came time for them to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame they would get back together and play for the first time in years.

This two disc Blu-Ray set features some of the legends of Rock and Roll. For instance, Cat Stevens playing 'Father and Son' which made the audience believe they were in a church. When Journey was inducted they played 'Separate Ways', 'Don’t Stop Believin’', and 'Lights'. I saw that show and they rocked the house. When the last two members of Nirvana played on stage they were joined by Joan Jett, Annie Clark, Lorde and Kim Gordon and you could the pure emotion as they played some of the groups biggest hits. When Ringo Starr was being inducted with a little help from his friend Paul McCartney you could see the love flow.

You will be able to enjoy other groups like Yes, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Deep Purple, Cheap Trick, Chicago just to name a few. This set also includes individuals like Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Glen Frey and Stevie Wonder play some of their greatest hits.

Time Life brings this wonderful collection of Hall Of Fame rockers to Blu-Ray on April 24th, 2018. The quality of the two disc set are excellent and the sights and sounds make you think you are right there in the front row. This is definitely one that you will want to pick up and keep in the personal library. Some of these wonderful people are no longer with us and at your fingertips you will be able to see them as they are recognized for the joy of rock they were able to give us.
