'Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story' Blu-Ray Review

Nathaniel Reed (Trace Adkins) is a hard working man. He and his wife Laura Lee (Michelle Harrison) have a wonderful life together and want to have children to make it a happy family. Here's the problem, Reed has a past and its a bad one. Reed was an infamous outlaw and not everyone forgives and forgets. Take for instance U.S.Marshal Calhoun (Kim Coates), he carries a big grudge for Reed. Calhoun is a victim from a stagecoach robbery gone bad and lost his eye in the process. Reed was the outlaw that shot his eye and Calhoun is not going to forget it and wants his revenge.
Laura Lee is the local teacher and Reed makes his money honestly but this is not enough for him to just sit back and wait for Calhoun to come after him. Reed gets his old gang together and becomes Texas Jack wanted outlaw.

Judd Nelson, Claude Duhamel, Garry Chalk, and Helena Marie round out the rest of the cast and help keep this western on track. The days of the western seem to have come to an end but every so often one sneaks in and this is one of them. 'Stagecoach: The Texas Jack Story' has great action packed moments and great scenery with plenty of gun play to keep you interested. This is definitely one to keep.

Cinedigm brings this one to us on Blu-Ray December 13th, 2016. The quality of the Blu-Ray is fantastic and the sights and sounds are exquisite. Now you can pick this one up and put it in your personal library or you can pick one for a Christmas gift to that special friend who enjoys westerns. This movie has some great moments and it's a keeper so don't waste any time and pick it up.
Watch Trace Adkins play the reformed outlaw Nathaniel Reed as he slips back into his bad boy persona. Kim Coates does an excellent job as Calhoun and you'll love the ending. Enjoy.
