'Poltergeist 2' Blu-Ray Review

It has been a year since the Freeling family were attacked by the poltergeist's in there home. The house in Cueste Verde is destroyed and the area has been turned into a paranormal archeological dig. A cavern had been found and a special demon by the name of Kane was found. Kane had once been human and went by the name of Reverend Henry Kane. He and his followers believing the world was coming to an end had hideout in the cave. There was just one problem Kane did not let his people go after the supposed deadline, and all perished.

The Freeling family with Mother Diane (JoBeth Williams), Father Steve (Craig T. Nelson), daughter Carol Anne (Heather O' Rourke), and son Robbie (Oliver Robins) have moved to Phoenix Ar, and are living with Diane's mother Jessica "Grandma Jess" Wilson (Geraldine Fitzgerald). They believe they have left the spirit world behind until psychic Tangina Barron's (Zelda Rubinstein) finds out what's been discovered in the cave. She knows of Kane and that he is interested in Carol Anne and her special powers. Tangina tells an Indian Shaman by the name of Taylor (Will Sampson) of all that she knows and Taylor heads to Phoenix to protect the young girl. As soon as the family begins to settle into their new surroundings the other world begin to make themselves known. From here to the end of the movie all hell begins to break loose and I really don't want to spoil it for you.

Scream Factory brings this wonderful movie to Blu-Ray on January 31st, 2017. The quality of the Blu-Ray is fantastic and the sights and sounds are right on. This will be an excellent addition to that library of DVD's you have started. So, don't waste any time to pick one up because as sequels go this one is very good. Enjoy.
