'Poltergeist 3' Blu-Ray Review

The Freeling family have survived the last two attacks by the demon Kane but now all bets are off. Parents Diane (JoBeth Williams) and Steve (Craig T. Nelson) are at their wits ends. They don't know who to turn to for help but they need a break from their daughter Carol Anne (Heather O' Rourke). You see, Carol Anne has special powers that the demon Kane wants. If you remember Kane is the name of human Reverend Henry Kane (Nathan Davis). Kane lured his followers to their death's and has been trying to get Carol Anne's power but to no avail. The Freelings feel that if maybe Diane's sister could take Carol Anne for a time that all might be well.

Aunt Pat (Nancy Allen) and husband Uncle Bruce (Tom Skerritt) agree to take the child in. Bruce's daughter Donna (Lara Flynn Boyle) wasn't at first thrilled with the idea but later gives in. Carol Anne moves to Chicago and lives in a fancy apartment in Uncle Bruce's skyscraper. Yeah, talk about moving on up, this place is ultra chic. Carol Anne at first feels as if all the craziness is behind her but she begins to see the image of Kane in mirrors. Carol Anne is attending a special school but she really can't stand it. Little by little more  sightings of Reverend Kane and things begin to get crazy once again.

The principal of Carol Anne's new school Doctor Seaton (Richard Fire) takes an interest in the young girl and tries some psychotherapy on her. Tangina Barron's (Zelda Rubinstein) is having some tea with friends when she sees an image of Kane stalking Carol Anne. It's to real to her so she heads to Chicago, ASAP.

From here to the end of the film you pretty much know what's going to happen. I'll let you see it for yourself. Don't get me wrong it's a great movie but you can only fight the demon Kane for so many films. Scream Factory brings this horror classic to Blu-Ray  on January 31st, 2017. The quality of the Blu-Ray  is superb and once again the sights and sounds are exquisite. This Blu-Ray  will add to your library and is the finale of the poltergeist trilogy. Enjoy.
