'Soledad' DVD Review

Victor (Jesse Celedon) is a limo driver who caters to the rich and famous of Los Angeles. The problem is that his customers are usually rude or obnoxious. Victor is simply a lonely Latino man who lives alone and has a certain routine that seems to fit him. He is an ex-con with a history that he wants to keep to himself. In his spare time he lifts weights and minds his own business. He takes the bus to go to work so he doesn't even get to take the limo home. In other words most people would look at this man and simply think he is a loser.

One night a guy and girl get into his limo after a prom. The guy's name is Preston (Chase Austin) and the girls name is Raquel (Montanna Gillis). Usually names wouldn't matter much but this isn't an ordinary night. You see Preston wants to get laid and he doesn't care where. So he starts to go after Raquel in the backseat and she wants nothing to do with it. Victor stops the car and beats little rich boy Preston silly.

Victor and Raquel get back in the car and leave Preston on the side of the road. Conversation begins to take place and the two end up at a Taco Truck and eventually to a tattoo joint. The two like to hang out together and will end the night at a dance club that isn't very populated. Preston doesn't want to let bygones be bygones and wants some revenge but you'll have to watch the movie to find out what happens.

Candy Factory Films brings this film to DVD on July 26th, 2016. The quality of the DVD is excellent and the sights and sounds are exquisite. This offbeat film is a joy to watch. There are times in the movie where you know you have had the same thing happen to you, especially on those late nights. This is definitely one for your personal library so don't hesitate and go pick it up. Enjoy.
